Setting up of Aquarium

After making the aquarium, set it up in the appropriate location. To do this we need Filters, Heaters(for cold countries), Lights, Gravel, Plants,Aquarium Thermometer, Water testing kit, and an aquarium net.

Be sure the filter has all its components,(ie) (1)Sponge; this filters the large sediments and due to biological action traps and break them down to finer particales. (2) Charcoal; for purifying the water. (3) Amonia Remover; this removes the amonia (clorates) from the water. These along with the aeriating action of your filter, should keep your fish healthy.

      (1) Install filter system following the manufacturer's instructions carefully.

      (2) Clean the decorations and gravel with non-toxic, non -soapbased solution.

      (3) Install the heater.

      (4) Add clean gravel one pound to one gallon of water.

      (5) Install the plants making sure there are anchored at the bottom of the tank with gravel.

      (6) Before adding the fish, fill the tank with water from the tap.Enquire from your fish store about special conditions you may need, because they will be familiar with the composition of local water.

      (7) Add the thermometer. (cold water fish prefer temperature between approx. 55 to 70 degrees).

      (8) After installation of all these, allow tank to run for about 24-48 hours before putting fish in the tank.

If you are satified that the tank is functioning properly, you can now add your fish.

I'm hoping you had great fun setting up your aquarium.
